These components support the pipe by transferring the loads and forces they carry to an adjacent item through its supporting base. A Pipe Saddle can act as an anchor that elevates, and supports the pipe. These components can be used as adjustable support modules making use of special arrangements across different systems. The Reinforcing Saddle provides strength to a section of the line when welded tee or any connection is made with the pipe. These saddles are non-pressure retaining structures that can be fabricated using an extrusion process.
An A234 WPB Pipeline Saddle can act as adjustable support to the system. These components reduce the frictional forces by placing PTFE and graphite plates in between the modules. They are available in a range of sizes and shapes to meet different requirements. A Full Encirclement Saddle can be employed to provide support to different branch outlets.
